Confirmation instruction is a two-year intensive study opportunity for 7th and 8th graders.  Weekly hour-long classes (September to May, Sunday evenings 6:00 - 7:15 pm) led by the Pastor and the Director of Youth and Family focus on the study of Scripture and Luther’s Small Catechism.  The program culminates in each child’s public affirmation of the promises made at the child’s baptism.

Put another way . . .   it’s a chance to ‘dig deeper’ into the meaning of the Bible, to ‘re-consider’ how we can be part of the greater Lutheran church, to get to know other kids in the parish a bit better, to establish a trusting relationship with adults who care deeply about religion and deeply about kids. The curriculum is a 2 year program using Colaborate: Lutheran Confirmation (  For more information be in touch with the Pastor or the Director of Youth and Family.
